Event Temps was established in 2018, by experienced event management company Thirty 12 Events LTD, through a need to find the right staff to support our events.

We’re proud to call Bournemouth our home and a large number of our staff are based across Dorset and the surrounding counties; but Event Temps operates nationwide and we recruit talented temp staff from across the UK.

Founder, Dominique Wallace, is passionate about events and sustainability. Event Temps seeks to help event organisers deliver outstanding events, through finding the best staff for the job.

I was always really surprised that temporary staff are often paid a minimal amount, with little job security, so in setting up Event Temps I wanted to make sure we always pay our staff a fair wage. We believe this has helped us to attract and retain some of the best staff, some of whom have been with us since the start of our journey.”

Meet the Team

  • Operations Manager

    I have worked in hospitality for 20 years from sandwich shops, hotels, restaurants and pubs and then threw myself into the events world 7 years ago and loved it! I spent 3 years organising events for vulnerable people and then joined Event Temps as a temp 5 years ago and have covered many events from food festivals, game fairs and Weddings. I have been behind the scenes at Event Temps assisting with recruitment and clients for 20 months now and I absolutely love being part of a company that provides excellent staff for exciting events! I wake up every morning and look forward to starting work!

  • Staffing & Recruitment Manager

    I spent 7 years in various hospitality roles starting at 16, then detoured into corporate recruitment and sales. In June 2023, I officially rejoined the hospitality world with Event Temps, realising I missed it. Thriving on deadlines and loving the chaos of events, after working occasional shifts in 2022 - which was all part of my plan to help fund a four-month escapade across Latin America - I have 0 regrets!

    Working for Event Temps is a dream – ethical, paying the Real Living Wage, offering hybrid and flexible work, and letting me get out and work some of the events we staff. The variety and meeting like-minded staff keep me energised!
