Since May 2022, Event Temps has supported CrowdComms, a leader in event technology and delegate registration at conferences, exhibitions and corporate events. Our team expertly handles tasks such as setting up the registration areas, troubleshooting badge kiosks, and supporting delegates in fast-paced environments.
At CrowdComms events, Alishah, Robbie, and Elena each play vital roles in ensuring smooth operations, tackling challenges with their unique approaches.
As event hosts Alishah and Elena manage tasks like setting up kiosks, printing badges, and resolving attendee issues, enjoying the busy, fast-paced nature of events. Alishah says"I have yet to find a negative—each event has been great and accommodating," she said, adding that her experience has boosted her time management skills and confidence in technical setups.
Elena enjoys the technical precision and calm problem-solving at these events. Her favourite experience was the Joined Up Summit, which she loved for its "good crowd" and "kind people."
Robbie is often drafted in to lead the job and team, where he focuses on setting up and managing badge kiosks, liaising with the client, troubleshooting problems, and supporting delegates. "I really enjoy the people and seeing an event come together from start to finish," he shared, recalling the SSOW event in Lisbon as a highlight for its "cool exhibition stands, good vibes, and a great team."
Whether resolving equipment issues or managing high-pressure moments, all three bring patience, adaptability, and enthusiasm, ensuring events run smoothly while applying valuable skills to future projects.

Leader Associates: Investing in Hydrogen
The Investing in Hydrogen conferences in 2023 and 2024 marked significant milestones in the sustainable energy sector. Our team played a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations for high-level attendees, by providing skilled registration desk staff—among them, Salomé.
Salomé described her experience as highly rewarding, highlighting the politeness and professionalism of both attendees and organisers. "This is a really good event with very nice, polite people," she shared. The event’s smooth organisation, particularly during key moments like the awards ceremony, facilitated meaningful connections with its mission. "We had to ensure everything was in order for the right moment," she explained. Collaborating with thought leaders and major investors in a respectful, high-stakes setting was a standout experience for her. Her key insight - "Kindness and politeness ensure everything runs smoothly."
Strata Create: Stellantis Annual Conference
Collaborating with Strata Create, we supported their visionary event, which brought together leaders and visionaries in the automotive industry for a memorable, high-energy event. Our team was thrilled to be on-site, supporting the production and collaborating with StrataCreate to deliver a cutting-edge experience for Stellantis and its guests.
Our staff member Robbie played a crucial role in event logistics, from helping with registration to crowd control. "Registering over 1,000 people in just a couple of hours was the most exciting part," he said. Robbie found that preparing for such a large event required focus on self-care—sleep, food, and caffeine—to stay alert and efficient. "Listen to instructions from the Event Managers and stay calm if anything goes wrong," he advised. The key takeaway for Robbie from this experience was understanding the scale of the automotive industry. "There is a lot of money and interest in cars!" he noted. His advice for anyone working their first big event is simple but effective: "Stay calm, listen, and don’t be afraid to ask questions if you're unsure."

NUIX: The Humanity – The Ethical Frontier of AI event
Humanity – The Ethical Frontier of AI, hosted by Nuix focused on the ethical implications of AI and was a thought-provoking opportunity for our team to support technical and logistical elements while navigating sensitive topics. We supported Nuix by providing staff for the merchandise stand and registration desk.
Usha and Salomé both had memorable and impactful experiences working this event and each highlighted the importance of teamwork and organisation.
Usha, from the merchandise team, appreciated the supportive atmosphere, crediting the Nuix team’s kindness and encouragement. She ensured attendees received thoughtful keepsakes and warm greetings despite challenges like cold weather. Her advice? "Just be yourself and have fun!"
Salomé, involved in tasks from unpacking merchandise to assisting at the registration desk, highlighted the importance of organisation and teamwork. "We had to be very organised and quick," she said, noting how collaboration and technical support ensured smooth operations. Her takeaway: "It is nice working in a team." Her advice: "Be organised, polite, and don’t hesitate to ask for help."
DDM: Immersive Digital Experiences
Our collaboration with Digital Design & Media involves supporting VR setups and interactive exhibits, creating dynamic, memorable experiences for attendees.
Both Robbie and Elena have played integral roles in setting up and creating dynamic, engaging experiences for guests.
Robbie enjoys seeing families enjoy VR games and arcade classics, sharing, "Watching kids and parents have fun, and parents surprised by the technology, is one of the best parts of the job." His role whilst on site has ranged from setting up screens and VR tech to ensuring kids don’t damage equipment by playing too aggressively. "I have to make sure they don’t cause technical issues," he said.
Elena’s role when doing one of the DDM events has blended guest interaction with technical support, particularly enjoying the racing simulator and teamwork. She really enjoyed her time working with DDM noting that, "Steve is great! And I enjoy the racing sim," similarly to Robbie, her role involved helping guests maximise their experience, offering tips, and resolving challenges like power outages calmly to keep events running smoothly.
